America Latina y el Caribe) and will be developed under the joint
leadership of CELADE and PROLAP. The meeting brought together 58
representatives from 17 countries in the region who discussed ways of
consolidating and collaborating with regard to demographic data and
information. A list of recommendations for future action is
included.
