new series combining the previous CEN Monitors for England and Wales
and Census Information Bulletins for Scotland. The aims, however,
remain the same: to maintain contact between the Census Offices and
census users by providing information on the preparations for the
Census and details of relevant services, products, meetings and other
activities. The Census Newsletter will keep census users informed
about plans for, and consultations on, the 1991 Census. Later, the
series will give details of the proposed range and format of census
output. Coverage of the 1981 Census products will continue." The
present issue contains information on plans for census geography and
for the census test scheduled for April 1987 and on a Register of
Census Users, which will be used to send out discussion papers and
details of consultations
